Cbank sees Russians’ 1-year inflationary expectations at 10.4%
MOSCOW, Apr 20 (PRIME) -- Russians’ 1-year inflationary expectations decreased to 10.4% in April from 10.7% in March, as seen by PRIME in the central bank’s materials on Thursday.
"According to a poll by inFOM (central bank's statistics research contractor), inflationary expectations for the next year decreased and returned to the upper bracket from the second half of 2017 through 2020,” the central bank said.
“The median inflationary expectations estimate amounted to 10.4% (minus 0.3 percentage point from March)."
The perceived inflation in April gained 0.6 percentage points on the month to 14.9%.
